Thought for the day: Gear Identification

I took a workshop years ago. We all piled into a large school bus and drove to Point Lobos (near Carmel Ca). However when I was loading my black tripod into the back of the bus I noticed that 20 other photographers had loaded their black tripods in. And that there were two dozen more tripods waiting to be loaded.

I grabbed some tape from my bag (useful for quick repairs) and tagged my tripod. It makes unintentional gear evaporation much lower.

I also have color combinations:
— Green: me
— Green and purple: my wife
— Green and Red: Infrared

SlickPic was created by a group of like-minded photographers and photography-enthusiasts who wanted a service that wouldn't force them to conform to a certain style or niche, but one that would allow them the freedom to use their photos to tell whatever stories they want. They wanted a service that was capable of storing, showcasing, sharing, and displaying photos in all the different ways people use photos: some are meant just for family, some are taken for friends, and some are made for the world to see.
