There is a major difference between Generative AI and software that have “AI” assistance. Currently most photo programs have a “magic wand” button to help you finish your images including color balance, highlight correction, etc.
Generative AI makes, with hints from the user, an image from it’s library reference and makes all new material. It is Assistive AI that helps improve the extant photograph. Article on an award winning AI generated image.
