0677 (In the Lune Gorge nearing Grayrigg Summit (26m 10ch from Lancaster) the Low Gill Viaduct comes into view on the east side of the main line. This structure once carried the former LNW branch from Low Gill to Ingleton where it formed an end on connection with the MR. The branch closed to passengers 30 Jan 1954 and to freight 01 Oct 1964 & was subsequently dismantled in 1967.)
