View from "back porch" looking toward Warren Street.
07 - Porch Post and Bracket Detail
Showing sawn millwork and original half-round gutters.
08 - West Facade
The flat-roofed section to the right is a ca. or post 1900 addition.
09 - Northwest Corner
From Gay Street looking Southeast, the house is almost entirely obscured by yews and a large blue spruce.
10 - Garage
View from Alley at Warren Street looking Northwest. Thought in the National Register narrative to date to the 1920s, this structure exhibits some interior detailing suggesting it could be older.
11 - North Parlor
Looking toward front doors into North Parlor and East Parlor. From 1978 until 2013, the previous owners of this house rented it to University of Central Missouri faculty and graduate students. The photographs in this series show the house as furnished by a renter in 2012.
12 - Dining Room
View looking into North Parlor through pocket doors (left) and East Parlor through two pairs of bi-folding doors (right).
13 - Kitchen
Original, or at least early 20th century kitchen cabinets are to right of window. The cabinetry in front of the window and to the left were added by Robert and Nancy Jones, the previous owners. The possum-belly kitchen cabinet just visible to the right is thought to have been in the house since 1919, when Samuel Dalhouse purchased the property.
14 - Bathroom
Originally a part of the Front or West Bedroom, this room was created ca. 1900, probably concurrent with the addition of the Rear or Southwest Bedroom. The tub is thought to be original to the house, and the plumbing trap patent date is 1883. The beadboard wainscoting was added by Robert and Nancy Jones, previous owners.
