View More Australia’s most interesting and individual composers - Julian Cochran. Julian’s music is not harshly dissonant, nor feel-good New Age. It is music of immense individual character, whose central purpose has not lost its thread with the classical past. The final work on my first programme is one of the most flagrantly virtuoso works in the entire piano literature.
