Leura Australia, a very small town on the way to the Blue Mountains. Most all Blue Mountain tours stop here in the morning for morning tea and pastries. This is one of several cafe's that line the main street, of about a quarter of a mile long. It was early spring as we visited.

On the Coral Sea on the way out to the Great Barrier Reef from Port Douglas, Australia.
Leaving land behind, traveling to the NE corner of the Great Barrier Reef.
Sitting about 40 miles (1.5 hours) from Port Douglas in the Coral Sea. The South Pacific Ocean ahead just a few miles where the break waters hit the reef. Notice the different color of the water. The light blue color is where the coral is close to the surface and reflects it's colors to the surface. At very low tide, the coral is above water for periods of time.
Daintree Rain Forest ahead.
