Governor Owen was a witness to the signing of a reciprocal license agreement with Taiwan that will allow Taiwan nationals who live in Washington, such as university students, the ability to bypass the state driver license exam if they have a valid license in Taiwan. Washingtonians who live in Taiwan will have the same privilege. The agreement was signed on June 23.
