My friend, Priscilla, decided to take a hike in the Smokies and found 4 others to join her. We started at the back end of Rich Mountain and climbed 2.3 miles to the trail junction with Indian Grave Gap. At this point, we took a left (East) and went up to Cerulean Knob, for a beautiful view. Starting out, the trail and slopes were covered in light snow. The farther up we hiked, the deeper became the snow - it was wonderful! The hike down showed less, and less, snow and, finally, no snow at all and much warmer. The last few photos are from Priscilla.
