Each year, I attempt to keep a photo journal of the beauty that I have in my small world. The pics labeled "Mrs J's", belong to my across-the-street elderly neighbor. All she does is put something in the ground then, nothing - and I mean *nothing*! Everything she plants grows and thrives. No fertilizer, no extra water - even in drought. Me - I struggle to get the easy-to-grow plants - to grow. Take spinach: it needs nothing special - ordinary soil, maybe a little manure or fertilizer. I am still trying to get last Fall's efforts to grow into sizable plants, so I can sell the spinach. I'll add to these pics, as Spring progresses into Summer.
