You are probably seeing a trend now in my comments, regarding the need for more depth and shape definition, coming through the pushing of the midtones and shadows down. Having darker blacks and dark grays provide greater definition of the shapes and lines, and really helps with the picture's visual dynamic. |

Very nice. Good color, nice clouds and rich sky, solid anchor, good texture and lines. All around a nice photograph. |

Same as the previous photo, with great color and good sky. This is a perfect example of the close enough to touch it, with the textured foreground leading the eye through the scene. Well done! |

Very well done in composition, exposure and selection of subject matter. The lighter rocks contrast wonderfully with the darker rocks in the background, and the textures contrast nicely as well. The sense of scale and the immense size of the canyon walls really come through with your choice of wide focal length and close to the subject. Very good photograph! |

This is a great image, as the composition and color works very well. Good job capturing the lines and texture, with very good balance in the composition. |

Not sure what you were looking to capture in this scene. Very similar to the one from Rhyolite, with half the building filling the frame. The vast expanse is great, but the impact is minimized by the rock fact coming in to the scene. |
