I love the yellow flowers in the bottom left corner. They really hold the composition together. And then the lines from Badwater, the white salt and the gradations, really make this photo work just wonderfully. Well done.

I agree with Aaron. I just go through the photos in order and this one is the Dante's View winner. The pointy bush (scientific name) with the strong contrast just keeps bringing the eye right back. Excellent anchor!

Not really sure now. I think it must have been along the thought line of exiting the canyon and starting to arriving into a more open and sky lit space. A different angle and greater contrast of dark to light could have been a better starting point perhaps.

Thank you, I increased contrast and like the results, more detail in the foreground and a deeper background

Agree, about the distraction.I think I wondered if flat dark blue would be an interesting contrast. I cropped to eliminate the sky and added some contrast and like it much beter

This was a tighter crop than I was describing, but it works fine. You can see how the formations in the back really come front and center, with good depth off of the rock on the far left.

Yep, can't add anything that Aaron didn't say. I really like this shot, and your choice to shoot north instead of south. The mountains help greatly to frame the shot, with some nice clouds.

I think this works well. You still get a sense of the expanse of the formations, as they go on for as far as the eye can see. Without the excess sky, the expanse of formations is even more dominant.
