I agree with Aaron. I just go through the photos in order and this one is the Dante's View winner. The pointy bush (scientific name) with the strong contrast just keeps bringing the eye right back. Excellent anchor! |

I think this works well. You still get a sense of the expanse of the formations, as they go on for as far as the eye can see. Without the excess sky, the expanse of formations is even more dominant. |

Good use of color contrast to the black and white scene. Very nice use of a strong foreground object to the hold the frame as an anchor. Well done! |

This has great potential. It just needs something for perspective. You see the road, but not enough of it to identify it's a road. The rocks are amazing there, and the light is dramatic, but the foreground doesn't equal the visual impact of the top 3/4 of the frame, so it takes away from the punch of the image. So close!!! |

Same as the previous photo, with great color and good sky. This is a perfect example of the close enough to touch it, with the textured foreground leading the eye through the scene. Well done! |
