We spent the afternoon of our day in the Paige, AZ area kayaking on Lake Powell - man-made lake created when the Glen Canyon Dam was built. It was blisteringly hot under that sun, which made for a trying paddle, but it was undeniably gorgeous - and unlike any landscape I'd seen before.
