DSC00149 (our 1st full day in California...  after we checked out of our hotel, we decided to drive around a bit - sightseeing.  Our first stop was the world famous Lombard St. in San Francisco.  We drove down it (Kim took pics of that))

She was a little wacky and we couldn't really tell if she was being truthful or not, but according to her, she received a rather dire medical diagnosis and had only a few months to live.  She decided to spend the last days of her life just going from place to place.)

We drove for about an hour or so, maybe closer to 2 hours, down to Pacifico...  got very lucky and found a perfect hotel right on the beach and an amazing restaurant right across the street.  Probably the single best meal Kim and I have EVER had!!   simply incredible..  she has pictures on her camera roll.  slept with the patio doors open and the sound of waves crashing on the rocks coaxing us to sleep...)
