Besides my mom always being ready for a picture, she does spend a lot of time making sure she looks picture perfect, which does prolong some of these shoots only a little.

Although my dad was distracted, I still decided to take this picture to highlight how my mom is always ready for the camera and how happy my dad is to just be in the moment with her.

I chose to take this formal portrait of my mom because combined with the subtle wind, the environment and her smile, I believe it really highlighted just how good and at peace she looked in the photo!
