In the morning Lisa, Lee, Tom and Brad played 18 holes at Bandon Trails, one of the four 18 hole layouts at the spectacular ocean side Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. The day was beautiful-sunny and blustery. All of the caddies and pro shop folks we talked to said that "Trails" was their favorite track of the four, but after playing them all during the course of the week, I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite. All were special in their own way. After lunch and an afternoon rest back at the Dunes House, we went back to the resort and had a putting contest at the Punchbowl, a giant putting green with 18 holes mapped out on it. Brad and Tom tied for the win in regulation, with Brad winning out in a "putt off". In the evening we cooked a big feast at the Dunes House as the rhythm of crashing waves and the plaintive wail of a foghorn provided a unique soundtrack.
