Most photos of fireworks include some kind of foreground like buildings or water. These are nice, but, it places the fireworks at a distance.
I am mesmerized by the patterns created by the fireworks themselves. They are so fleeting that we really don't perceive the details. That is why I've chosen to concentrate just on the explosions themselves. Some look down right alien. Like some weird plants and trees on some distant world. Some remind me of sea creatures.
Take a look, and really look at the details. Hopefully you will be mesmerized too.
