Thought for the day: How Waterproof is Your Gear?
Some cameras are advertised as being waterproof. Some say water resistant, few, except underwater, say water proof.  But with most water resistant cameras where they are water resistant is from rain above.  Driving rain onto the lens rings (focus, zoom), not so much.  And if you put the camera down in a small puddle, even worse. Most cameras have very little waterproofing underneath the camera. This article on how just a little salt water that snuck into a $10K Fujifilm GFX camera shows what can happen.

SlickPic was created by a group of like-minded photographers and photography-enthusiasts who wanted a service that wouldn't force them to conform to a certain style or niche, but one that would allow them the freedom to use their photos to tell whatever stories they want. They wanted a service that was capable of storing, showcasing, sharing, and displaying photos in all the different ways people use photos: some are meant just for family, some are taken for friends, and some are made for the world to see.
